Oil and Gas Jobs Mean: Oil and gas jobs cover employment related to oil and gas fuel extraction, mining, and processing and the generation of electricity from those fuels. These include jobs involved in construction, manufacturing, wholesale trade, transmission and distribution, and professional services. Jobs in retail trade, repair services, water or waste management, and indirect employment or induced employment are not included.
